Arsenal Late Show Sinks Manchester United With A 3-1 Victory

The Sunday evening on 3 September was a super entertaining Sunday for sports lovers, especially football fans. It concluded with a 3-1 victory of Arsenal over Man United (Manchester United) in the Premier League Cup. Gabriel Jesus and Declan Rice were the heroes of this victory against Manchester United.

In the beginning, the match between Arsenal vs Man United seemed to be very tough. And the toughness continued till the end of the match. However, Jesus made football fans go home with joy and happiness by scoring at the 96th minute of the game. While talking to Sky Sports, Declan Rice, Arsenal’s player, said, “I think I controlled it with my chin and just had a shot, if you don't shoot you don't score”.

Mikel Arteta while speaking to Sky Sports said, “We work and do everything for moments like this. This is sport at the top level; it is about the small margins. It could have gone either way. I am really happy, obviously. They are a great team, really well coached and they make life difficult for you. When we gave the goal away that we did you are always up against it and in the Premier League that’s dangerous”.  

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United manager, said, “The performance was alright from us. I thought we played a very good game but everything went against us - you don’t win the game. We needed a little bit more luck to win the game. It [Garnacho’s goal] was not offside - it was the wrong angle. It was then a penalty on Hojlund and then we conceded a goal that was a foul on Jonny Evans. It’s so clear and obvious”.

At 21:01 on 3 September, Manchester United kicked off the Arsenal vs Man United match. Until the 26th minute, both Arsenal and Manchester United struggled a lot to score. It was the 27th minute when Rashford scored a goal that gave Man United a lead against Arsenal. Just after Man United’s lead, Arsenal brought the game to the level with the support of Martinelli and Odegaard. At the half time, both teams had a goal.

After the beginning of the 2nd half, the match of Arsenal vs Man United remained intense until the 88th minute. At that time, Declan Rice scored a goal against Man United. And at the end of the match, the 90th minute, Jesus made the 3rd goal that gave Arsenal a victory of 3-1 against Manchester United in the Premier League Cup.
